4.1 Service Requests
By requesting our services through our website, by telephone, or in person, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about your roofing needs. Any service request is subject to acceptance by Clearwater Roofing Pros.
4.2 Estimates and Proposals
Estimates or proposals provided by Clearwater Roofing Pros are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes or if material costs increase significantly between the time of estimate and the commencement of work.
4.3 Scheduling
Project schedules depend on weather conditions, material availability, and other factors. While we strive to meet all scheduled dates, Clearwater Roofing Pros cannot be held liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, material shortages, or acts of God.
4.4 Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing clear access to the work area
- Securing valuables and protecting items that could be damaged during roofing work
- Ensuring all pets and children are kept away from the work area
- Providing electricity access when required for the completion of services
4.5 Change Orders
Any alterations or deviations from the agreed scope of work involving extra costs will be executed only upon written change orders and will become an extra charge over and above the initial estimate.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Payment Schedule
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are as follows:
- For residential projects under $10,000: 50% deposit required before work commences with the remaining balance due upon completion
- For residential projects over $10,000: 30% deposit required to commence work, 30% due at midpoint of project, and 40% due upon completion
- For commercial projects: Payment schedule will be outlined in the service agreement
5.2 Late Payments
Payments not received according to the agreed-upon schedule are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. Client agrees to pay all costs of collection including reasonable attorney’s fees in the event of non-payment.
5.3 Insurance Claims
For services being funded through insurance claims, the client remains ultimately responsible for payment of all charges not covered by insurance. Clearwater Roofing Pros will work with your insurance company but cannot guarantee coverage.
6. Warranties
6.1 Workmanship Warranty
Clearwater Roofing Pros provides a workmanship warranty as specified in your service agreement. This warranty covers defects in installation and workmanship.
6.2 Material Warranties
Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers of the products installed and vary by product. Clearwater Roofing Pros will provide all manufacturer warranty information upon completion of the project.
6.3 Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover damage caused by:
- Acts of God or severe weather beyond normal conditions
- Alterations, repairs or modifications made without Company approval
- Improper maintenance or foot traffic on the roof
- Damage from falling objects, adjacent structures, or vegetation
- Settlement or structural movement
6.4 Warranty Claims
All warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period. Clearwater Roofing Pros must be given reasonable opportunity to inspect the claimed defect before any repairs are undertaken.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clearwater Roofing Pros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use our website or services
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our website
- Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like, which may be transmitted to or through our website
Clearwater Roofing Pros’ total liability for all claims related to services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the services in question.

9. Florida Building Code Compliance
All roofing services provided by Clearwater Roofing Pros are performed in accordance with the Florida Building Code and Pinellas County amendments. We obtain all required permits for roofing work and ensure all installations and repairs meet or exceed current code requirements, particularly regarding wind resistance for the Clearwater area.
As required by Florida law, we maintain proper licensing, insurance, and workers’ compensation coverage. Our Florida Roofing Contractor License information is available upon request.
10. Permitting and Inspections
Clearwater Roofing Pros handles the permitting process for all applicable roofing projects as required by the City of Clearwater and Pinellas County. Permit fees are included in project estimates unless otherwise specified.
Clients agree to allow access for all required municipal inspections. If a project fails inspection due to circumstances outside our control, additional charges may apply for rescheduling inspections and making corrections not related to our workmanship.
11. Cancellation Policy
11.1 Client Cancellation
If a client cancels a project after signing a contract but before work commences, a cancellation fee may apply to cover administrative costs and materials ordered. The specific fee will be outlined in your service agreement.
11.2 Company Cancellation
Clearwater Roofing Pros reserves the right to cancel or reschedule projects due to severe weather conditions, material shortages, or other unforeseeable circumstances. In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule at the earliest possible convenience.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties.
If such negotiations are unsuccessful, all disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Clearwater Roofing Pros reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and, where appropriate, notified to you by email. 15. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure of or delay in the performance of this agreement for the period that such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes or labor disputes, embargoes, government orders, or any other force majeure event. This is particularly relevant given Florida’s susceptibility to hurricanes and severe weather events.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with any service agreements, estimates, change orders, and other documents referenced herein, constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Clearwater Roofing Pros regarding the website and services, and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral.
